Specification for Small Bore Tubing and Fittings – International Association of Oil & Gas Producers Association (IOGP)
The Specification for Small Bore Tubing and Fittings was prepared under Joint Industry Programme 33 (JIP33) "Standardization of Equipment Specifications for Procurement" by the International Oil & Gas Producers Association (IOGP) with the support from the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The specification aims to improve inefficiencies within the supply chain, by providing suppliers with a clear specification which builds on recognised industry and international standards.
The specification was created in consultation with oil and gas operators and industry suppliers with a clear aim to achieve project cost reductions. Typically, inefficiencies within the supply chain are a major contributory factor to overspend on projects in the oil and gas industry.
“At Custom Fittings, we welcome the standards. Creating clear, internationally recognised standards, speeds up supply chain and importantly helps us to contribute towards an on-time, cost effective project that will be successful in the long-term.
